People say that green is the color of envy. Coincedentally, the United States currency also happens to be green. Nobody wants to spend their lives feeling envious of other people, as self comparison has to be the blackest pit anyone could visit besides Mariana’s Trench, of course. The financial situation that everybody is born into is entirely arbitrary, and I believe that Kharma may have something to do with how comfortable people are in their current lives. Kharma aside, money is something you are born into or born without. By arbitration I was born into a wealthy family, and I do believe that my inheritence will keep me comfortable for some time, but I know that I’m going to work much harder than my mom has, because I cannot be idle and I cannot compare myself to others regardless of the number in my bank account. If I were to win the lottery, sure I’d keep half of it, but I would donate the rest to organizations around the world who strive to better the human condition; to better the lives of those who were not as fortunate as I was.
Dogs and pets have become style statement now days. People dress and accessorize their dogs so that they look different from other dogs. Dog clothes and other pet products have a big market. It has become a billion dollar industry. Tiny dog clothes can be found in different color, sizes, based on dog gender. Different clothes for male dogs and different for female dogs are available in the market. Some people dress their dogs in vest, chains and even glasses. Some people want to show their personality by their dogs. Pet lovers even put accessories on their dogs that match with the clothes.
Ever since I was little, I was a very sly and impatient. Every Christmas Eve I would wait until midnight to open my presents because I knew that I could argue the fact that it was Christmas morning! I one time had a hunch that my mom had bought me my gift instead of “Santa Claus” and I tricked her into telling me when and where she bought it. Last year I began dating this girl Alexandra whose family traditions are taken seriously, and every Christmas her and her siblings wait at the top of the stairs until they are called down to the kitchen where they were greeted with gifts and a feast of a breakfast. If I were to pass anything down to my family, it would have to be the Christmas patience because it preserves the surprise and the respect for family that my autonomy didn’t really allow.
I have not been married yet, but if I were to go anywhere for a honeymoon I would want to visit Bora Bora. I am well aware of how much of a tourist hot spot Bora Bora has become with the many honeymoon services available, but if you have ever seen pictures of the huts for two on water, you would agree that it’s beautiful. Hibiscus grows and blossoms all over the valleys on the island, and the white sand is an enticing temptation for my toes. The water is emerald colored and the candle light which reflects from it at night is perfect for romance.
